Sunday

  • 8.45am: Holy Communion – Currently on 1st Sunday of the month.
  • 10.30am: All Age Worship/Holy Communion/Morning Worship/Baptisms.

Tuesday

  • 9.00am: Weekly Prayer Meeting

Wednesday

  • 10.00am: Holy Communion with Prayer.

Local Ecumenical Partnership

At St. Mary’s we are an Ecumenical Partnership involving Anglicans, Baptists and Methodists. We are a single church family with everyone attending services led by ministers of all three denominations. In addition we also have members of our church family who belong to other denominations as well including Moravian and Salvation Army. Our membership of each denomination is also expressed through:

St. Mary’s is regularly involved with other churches in Newent and the Area through a Unity Group. Events include:

  • Service for the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity
  • Good Friday Walk of Witness
  • Easter Day Sunrise Service on May Hill
  • Open Air Service by the Lake
