Financial Donations

Please use this link to the website of the Disasters Emergency Committee. Donations made to them will be matched by the UK government, thus doubling the impact. They partner with charities such as The British Red Cross, Christian Aid and CAFOD amongst others.

Prayer

Please continue to pray for Ukraine and its people and the churches there as they remain to minister to those in such great need.

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not let them be afraid.

John 14.27

A message from Bishop Rachel
“Across our world there are so many places of fear, conflict, war, and the misuse of power; and today the spotlight is painfully focused on Ukraine and Russia.”

“Archbishop Justin and Archbishop Stephen have written a letter,

Ukraine Pastoral Letter from the Archbishops

inviting you to join in prayer for those in Ukraine who suffer grievously, for all who take decisions around the world, and for the people and leaders of Russia too.”

“As we pray for wisdom for our leaders, and for peace and hearts turned out towards the world, may we keep the flame of Christ’s hope alight amid our conversations and daily tasks.”

With thanks for our life together,

Bishop Rachel
